PEER Cycle 9 Grant Awarded
Dr. Kawnish Kirtania of SEER group has been awarded with PEER Cycle 9 grant from the US National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, and USAID. Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research or PEER is a competitive awards program that supports research and capacity-building activities on topics of importance to USAID and conducted in partnership with U.S. Government (USG)-funded and selected private sector partners.
The project Renewable Hydrogen generation with Carbon Recycle (ReHyCaRe) from Biogenic Residues of Bangladesh was selected for funding among 474 pre-proposals and 127 full proposals from all around the globe. This will be a collaborative research among three leading Bangladeshi Universities (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University and University of Dhaka) and US PEER Partner, Florida Institute of Technology, USA.
